Yoga Hosers’s Harley Quinn Smith Gets Real About the Firsts in Her Life
Released on 09/06/2016
I don't know if this counts as my first (laughing).
I don't even know if I want to say this
because it's so insanely embarrassing.
Hi I'm Harley Quinn Smith, I am here with Teen Vogue
and I'm gonna answer some questions
about the big firsts in my life.
Here we go.
My first word was mom and I think if it was anything else,
my mom would be super pissed for the rest of my life
so I'm glad it was that.
My first CD was Love. Angel. Music. Baby. by Gwen Sefani.
She has been my idol for forever in fashion
and just in life in general, she is an amazing human being,
and I still listen to that nonstop.
My (laughing) first best friend was Lilly Rose Beth.
We've been to school together since kindergarten and
we have been best friends ever since, it's pretty special.
My first attempt to earn money with one of my best friends
in the entire world, when I would go to her house,
we would set up a table on her lawn,
and we would try pose ourselves as psychics.
We would ask for like $20 to tell them their fortunes
and the fortunes would be like,
one day you're gonna have dinner
and you're gonna have pizza for dinner.
We were more like seven year old con artists.
It was a disaster.
The first thought when I woke up this morning was,
why did I stay up all night watching Desperate Housewives?
Why do you do this to yourself Harley?
My first crush was this boy Riley Griffiths
who was in Super 8, one of my favorite movies of all time.
But I was like hardcore obsessed with this kid
and I have pictures of him in my room, it was very weird,
it was like a next level love (laughing)
so that was strange.
My first big splurge,
I don't know if this counts as my first (laughing) big,
I put up posters in my house that were like,
please help a young girl get a Louboutin bag,
it's all she wants, it would make her dreams come true,
please donate like 15 thousand dollars
to the cause, thank you.
That was my first big (laughing) attempt
at a big splurge and it's very embarrassing.
Please don't judge me or hate me.
My first favorite movie that I apparently watched
like everyday as a child was Chicago.
I would dance around and sing to it and my dad
has like obscene videos of my like going on the furniture
and like singing my heart out into like a next level degree,
it is so embarrassing.
The first thing my parents taught me about Hollywood
other than it's ridiculous, even though I live
in Hollywood Hills, is to always stay grateful and thankful
and never treat anybody, no matter what their job on a set
or in the industry, with a lack of respect
because everybody is working just as hard as you
and there's no reason to treat anybody
with a lack of respect.
Thanks for watching
