My first job in New York was for a tiny (as in two employees, the owner and me) PR agency. My boss sent me to the Betsey Johnson fashion show on my own — zero directions or how the whole NYFW thing works — to check on our client, one of the backstage sponsors. I had no invitation, no credentials, name not on "the list," knew no one. I don't know how it happened, but I somehow managed to finagle my way backstage — mostly motivated by the fear that I'd get fired. I don't know if that's funny, but it still sticks out in my memory.What beauty product are you loving right now?
