Now meet her supercool boss Paul Marciano--one of the founders of this behemoth fashion brand! Meet New Guess Girl Alyssa Miller!

Following in the footsteps of legendary top models like Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova, and Laetitia Casta, 20-year-old Alyssa Miller has been christened the new face of GUESS by the company's charismatic co-founder Paul Marciano himself. Though her dark hair and gorgeous bone structure are reminiscent of a young Sophia Loren (or any other super sultry Italian actress), she surprisingly hails from Los Angeles! "Alyssa is the most European-looking American girl I've ever seen!" Marciano said at a launch event for the brand's new fragrance, GUESS Seductive. You may have already spotted Miller in the TV commercial for the scent, which recently began airing, but check out this video to learn more about her!

Tweezerman Partners With Iconic Designer Betsey Johnson!

Sure, tweezing one's brow hairs isn't exactly the most glamorous beauty ritual out there, but it just got a lot cooler, thanks to these super cute Tweezerman tools designed by fashion's favorite punk queen Betsey Johnson! It's hard to find another designer who injects as much free-spirited fun into her work as she does (I can't help but smile every time she does her famous post-fashion show cartwheel down the runway), and as far as I'm concerned, it's a gift to be able to sense her joyful spirit while I'm plucking away--it helps distract me from the pain! Thanks Betsey!! Buy it for $25 at Sephora.com or BetseyJohnson.com starting September 1st.

Rehab Your Summer-Wearied Skin

The hours you spent having fun in the summer sun may make for good memories, but unfortunately, your complexion is probably paying the price for it: Dullness, uneven tone, and clogged pores are all common traits of post-summer skin. Bring back a healthy glow just in time for the first day of school with these easy DIY tips from Hollywood skin guru Ole Henriksen, who treats tons of celebrities at his posh Sunset Boulevard spa (Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, and Brody Jenner, to name just a few!).For brightening dull skin: "Mix 3 oz. of whole milk with 3 oz. of lemon juice and shake it up. Dip a cotton pad in the mixture and lay the cotton pad on the skin (as opposed to just swiping it across) and repeat this all over the face. Follow these steps nightly to combat dull, sun damaged skin and rev up circulation. The lemon juice tightens and refines pores and has natural fading benefits, while the milk is soothing and has lactic acid to remove dead skin cells."For breakouts and super oily skin: "Fill the bathroom sink 1/3 full with warm water and add 1 teaspoon of eucalyptus essential oil. Dip a thin, cotton cloth into the mixture and place it over a clean face for 30 seconds. Repeat this five times in a row. The aroma is great for clearing the senses and eucalyptus essential oil naturally kills bacteria, reduces inflammation and diminishes the appearance of pimples."For reviving tired skin: "Make your own tonic by mixing 3 oz. of green tea with 3 oz. of apple juice. Place it in a mister bottle and put it in the fridge. Mist onto clean skin in the am and pm. The green tea works as an anti-oxidant and neutralizes UV damage while calming the skin. The apple juice provides the skin with Vitamin A, natural fruit acids (AHAs), and it helps tighten pores and shed any dead skin cells."

Contest Alert: 15-40 Connection Challenges You to Take Action Against cancer

The cancer survival rates for adolescents and young adults in the U.S. haven't changed in the last 35 years while it has improved for other age groups, largely because they put off going to the doc when they feel achy, fatigued, or in pain. The organization 15-40 Connection is determined to change this sobering statistic by motivating teens to schedule regular medical checkups--and if you join them in their mission, you could score an awesome prize, from an Apple iPad to a Nintendo Wii! Just enter their "Rock The Doc" contest at by November 30 to receive email reminders of your upcoming doctor appointments, and the winners will be chosen in December. Good luck!!
