Lindsey Roy

Lindsey Roy is a corporate executive at Hallmark, based out of Kansas City, Missouri. A tragic boating accident while on vacation almost claimed Lindsey’s life and left her with an amputated left leg, severely injured right leg and injured right arm. Lindsey serves on the Board of Directors for Steps of Faith Foundation, a non-profit connecting people with limb loss and limb difference with the services and products they need. She is the honorary co-chair of the museum exhibition “Bespoke Bodies: The Design & Craft of Prosthetics,” in collaboration with Design Museum Everywhere, on view now at the National WWI Museum and Memorial in Kansas City. Lindsey is also the author of a new book, The Gift of Perspective: Wisdom I Gained from Losing a Leg and Two Lungs.
