Max Gao

Max Gao is a freelance sports and entertainment journalist based in Toronto and Montreal. In addition to Teen Vogue, he has written for The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, NBC News, Sports Illustrated, The Daily Beast, Harper's Bazaar, ELLE, W, Men's Health, and other publications. Max specializes in writing features and profiles about the rising and established players in TV, film, music and tennis. He has also worked as an accredited writer and photographer for the National Bank Open and will graduate from McGill University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in International Management and Finance. He speaks six languages: four fluently (English, French, Spanish, Mandarin) and two conversationally (Italian, German).
