Earlier this month, rumors surfaced that Mischa Barton had moved across the pond to her native London. Allegedly, she planned to revive her career on the West End stage, score more face-time with her British DJ boyfriend, and then return to America as the fresh-faced Marissa Cooper we know and love. Turns out, none of this is happening: her rep insists the claims are false. What a shame! Despite our confusion over her dress/skirt/handkerchief (what is that thing?), Mischa looks better than she has in ages. She's rocking a fierce hairdo, a smoldering smokey eye, and has accessorized appropriately. She's THIS close to getting it together (but again, are those wings on her dress?!). We'd like to bang on Mischa's door, give her a hug and a plane ticket, and tell her that some time in London-town (or anywhere besides L.A.) is just what she needs.

So you think you can dance? Show off your moves on Fashion's Night Out at the Tracy Reese store at 641 Hudson St. in the Meatpacking District! Tracy will host a dance-a-thon from 6-11pm in which guests will face-off to different musical genres. We suggest you come ready to shake your groove thang to everything from country to slow R&B--you never know what Guest DJ Rajni Jacques, who moonlights as a fashion features editor for Nylon, will spin. The best dancers will be awarded prizes (the audience judges), and we're keeping our fingers crossed that they give out wardrobes full of Tracy Reese flirty frocks and knitwear. You'll need to kick back and relax after busting a move (and maybe pulling a muscle). Tracy has you covered: Sally Hansen will be providing complimentary manicures in the store. A spa manicure is definitely how J.Lo and Mariah relax after a show--and you're a certified diva now, aren't you?

The white T-shirt is so classic that rappers even devote songs to it. Now that American Apparel may go under, we're on the prowl for our new favorite plain tee. Twilight star Ashley Greene looks cute and sporty in this loose Division-E T-shirt. The top is slouchy enough that it's comfortable, but it is still flattering to Ashley's petite silhouette. Fit really matters when selecting this summer wardrobe staple. Another factor to take into consideration? Assure that your white shirt isn't see-through (a fashion no-no!). Ashley hits a home-run in this top. Play ball!

If anyone can pull off a studded leather jacket, it's Drew Barrymore. We've seen her karate chop in Charlie's Angels and speed skate in Whip It... girl is tough. We like our Drew with a side of romance (50 First Dates, Never Been Kissed, hello!), which is why the sharp contrast between her flowing white dress and embellished jacket works so well. A sleek ponytail, classic aviator sunglasses, and an oversized ring complete the outfit. Drew's ensemble is both sweet and spicy, just like her.

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester, Vogue contributing editor (and upcoming Gossip Girl guest star) Lauren Santo Domingo, and Best-Dressed list regulars Coco Brandolini, Caroline Sieber, Alexia Niedzielski are co-hosting a cocktail party to mark the launch of five new Roger Vivier fragrances. While we're excited to shop for shoes, shoes, shoes (woman are eternally indebted to Roger Vivier for creating the stiletto heel) and pretty scents, we're biting our nails anticipating what the five stylish young co-hosts will wear in an epic fashion face-off. While Fashion's Night Out events are set to occur all over the world, New York City takes center-stage. Part of Roger Viver's proceeds will benefit The New York City AIDS Fund in The New York Community Trust (and if you need another incentive, there are gifts with purchase!). If you're looking to shake and shimmy on September 10th, there will also be a live French/American retro jazz band, BON MUSIQUE, performing. Maybe you can convince Leighton to get on mic and sing a few tunes with the band!

Though Piranha 3D isn't quite our style (prehistoric fish, blood, spring break partying... ew), Jessica Szohr's outfit certainly is. The Gossip Girl star looks regal in a red Notte by Marchesa dress. When wearing a show-stopping dress, it is important to wear muted accessories. Jessica accomplishes this by pairing her frock with a simple champagne clutch and metallic gold pumps. It's a good thing red looks good on Jessica because by the looks of the trailer, it's the color she sports for most of the film.

From cone bras to wedding dresses, it's hard to live up to Madonna's legendary style. Lourdes Leon manages to accomplish the impossible, stepping out of Madge's shadow and establishing herself as a fashionista in her own right. Lourdes has fun with fashion and is adept at mixing and matching unexpected prints and fabrics. In Paris, she paired a punk-y longline vest with a flannel shirt, sequined bag, retro sunglasses, and an arm full of bangles. Lourdes doesn't dress to make a statement or attempt to appear more mature (looking at you, Miley). Her outfits reflect her personal style, not a passing fad or rebellious phase in her life. Madonna's little girl has style sense far beyond her 13 years.

Jessica Biel has admitted that she does not have an innate fashion instinct. Though she looks gorgeous dressed up, she seems much more at ease in casual boyfriend jeans, t-shirts, and workout gear. As one who clearly prefers to be comfortable, Jessica struck the perfect balance between fashion and function while promoting The A-Team in London. The combination of a ruffled white blouse and colorful skirt is simple yet elegant. She looks at ease in a pair of nude flats, but dresses up the ensemble with an edgy stone necklace. Jessica Biel may have stolen our man (Justin Timberlake, where you at?), but we've got to give her props for staying true to herself and looking great at the same time.

Whether we are dressing for work or play (and all that falls in-between), we can mix and match A.P.C.'s luxurious and well-made staples. A.P.C. shuns trends in favor of classic fitted blazers, striped sweaters, and colorful skirts.
