The Birthplace of Country Music Museum

Located in Bristol, TN-VA, The Birthplace of Country Music Museum is a Smithsonian-affiliated museum that explores the history of the 1927 Bristol Sessions and its impact on country music through exhibits, programs, and outreach and educational activities. Museum Director Dr. René Rodgers and Curatorial Manager Erika Barker work at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum and specialize in country music history. Marketing Specialist & Photographer Ashli Linkous works at the Birthplace of Country Music, a nonprofit organization that runs the museum, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion music festival, and Radio Bristol, and also contributed to this work.
