Ashley Benson's 2012 Teen Choice Awards Makeup

Ashley Benson wore a glamorous twist on classic black eyeliner at the Teen Choice Awards. The actress's striking cat eye makeup was applied boldly, and, not to be upstaged by her liner, her lashes were full and voluminous. The intense eye makeup was softened by her peach blush and hint of bronzer. Celebrity Makeup Artist Mai Quynh gives us the inside scoop on Ashley's look.

"First, I applied mark For Goodness Face Antioxidant Skin Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 and mark Primed for Perfection Face Primer to prep Ashley's skin," says Quynh. "After creating a strong, moisturized base, I applied mark Min-A-Real Cream-To-Powder Foundation in Light Medium using the mark Foundation Brush, along with Good Riddance Hook Up Concealer in Light Medium under her eyes and around her nose. I set her foundation mark Matte-Nificent Oil Absorbing Powder in Light Medium using the mark Powder Brush.

For her soft, healthy flush, I applied mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Peachy to the apples of Ashley's cheeks with the mark Foundation Brush. Then, I dusted on mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder using a fluffy brush. After her foundation was set, I layered mark Good Glowing Mosaic Blush Custom Color in Chica on the apple of her cheeks.

Onto the eyes! I applied gold and bronze shadow shades from mark On The Dot Neutral Eye Color Palette on her inner creases using the mark All Over Eye Shadow Brush. Next, I smudged the bronze shade on her bottom lash using the mark Flat Eyeliner Brush. Then, I lined her upper lash line with mark Keep it Going Longwear in Entourage. To make her eyes pop, I applied a thin line of eyeliner on her inner eye, making it thicker and pulling it out as I brought it to her outer corner. I finished her eye makeup by applying two coats of mark Lash All You Want Mascara on her top and bottom lashes.

Finally, I added color to her lips. I layered mark Lipclick Full Color Lipstick in Coral Fixation and mark Gloss On Lip Gloss in Sunset Beach to create a gorgeous pout."
