Ashley Benson’s 'Pretty Little Liars’ Costars Celebrate Birthday
Ashley Benson and her friends know that a birthday is a big deal, and she naturally celebrated like a true princess. So when her 27th birthday rolled around, she had tons of love around her especially from her fellow Pretty Little Liars cast members. After working on the show for the better part of a decade, it's clear that the PLL cast has become more like a family – and rightfully so.
With that in mind, the rest of the Rosewood squad had some seriously emotional words for Ashley on her big day. And, because everyone knows the best way to send a birthday message is with a fabulous picture on Instagram, the celebratory lovefest happened all day on social media — major double-taps ahead.
1/7Naturally, Tyler Blackburn had something to say.
Tyler, who plays the other half of the oh-so-shippable #Haleb, 'grammed a picturesque selfie of him and Ashley. "HBD to the baddest b*tch in the game," he began. "You are a beautiful human inside and out. Thank you for bringing tears to my eyes with laughter that I'll hold in my heart forever. ❤️ you always and wishing you the best day babe!!" He finished the post with the necessary birthday cake and party emojis.
2/7Troian Bellisario went with the happiest photo imaginable.
But seriously, could this picture be any cuter? Troian, who has such a way with words, composed an emotional note to Ashley. "To the kid. The blonde one. The littlest sister. Benzo. Smash. The Christina to my Vicky," Troian started. "This picture perfectly encapsulates us. Dying of laughter from a moment of total mind melding. What we walked through, the best of it and the worst of it, we got through it because we did it together. You made me a better actor with every scene. You made me cry with laughter from every outtake. And you saved my spirit more than once or twice in the in between. I love you babe. I hope you're giving them hell in the city. I miss you. Ian wrote, "I'm so happy you done got birthed on this day many moons ago, because without you, my life would be a little less bright, and my loins a little less sore from the number of crotch shots you've dealt me with your fists of steel. Together, Ashley and Shay make up #ButtahBenzo, AKA one of the greatest duos of all time. "To my little sis on her birthday – PLL has given me so many things I'm thankful for but you are easily at the top of that list," Shay said. "Having experienced something so life changing together has bonded us in a way that's impossible to describe, and I am forever grateful you were by my side the entire time (literally 😬).
