Asos Debuts a Very Vintage Capsule Collection

The rise of mega-model Twiggy, the proliferation of Mod designs from the likes of Mary Quant, the plethora of dance-happy discos overflowing with sequined duds—the '60s and '70s certainly had some signature style moments. But since the pair of decades featured a wide range of fashion phenomena, we were curious to see how exactly they inspired Asos's new Salon capsule collection. How would 20 years play out in just nine pieces?

In a crazy-cool way, that's how! Designed in collaboration with recent Central Saint Martins grad Molly Goddard, the formal pieces are feminine with a serious dose of fun. We're loving the sorbet and citrus shades (and standout embroidery!) and are particularly fond of a lace-meets-floral smock frock and a yellow evening gown with a slight '70s twist.
