The Top 10 Fall Beauty Looks
1/10A coup de grace for both hair (by Odile Gilbert, who you may recognize from our issue) AND makeup (by Chanel's new makeup creator, Peter Phillips). Love the gilded eyes and gold splashed hairline. Very dramatic and utterly fabulous.
2/10Love the look that makeup artist Pat McGrath (check out our September issue for an amazing story with her!) and, as usual, stunning hair by hair master Garren. This makeup look, toned down a tad, is definitely school-appropriate. Pile on the bubble-gum pink blush and add a touch of gold!
3/10Good girl gone bad, Gucci-style! This is one of those makeup looks that I love but, in reality, never really have occasion to try. But it's amazing to look at, no? Love the boho-hair.
4/10I have stick, stick straight hair, but I often dream of hair soft loose waves, just so I could pin my hair up in this totally undone-chic manner. Gorgeous and so romantic!
5/10I adore this lipcolor that makeup artist Dick Page mid for the show! A little bit of rock and roll and a LOT of sassiness! If you're not strutting the runway, use a lipstain to recreate this look, or use a deeply pigmented lipstick, concentrate color in the center of lips, and use fingers to work color in.
6/10Pure romance. Love this ethereal 60s look. Break out your bobby pins and give this pretty, volumized look a try (hint: blowdry your hair upside down, with a liberal spritzing of volumizer). Very sweet!
7/10The perfect party look, from makeup artist Pat McGrath! Try it with lavender, or another pretty shade, like teal, navy, darker violet... the options are endless! Keep the rest of the face simple.
8/10Hurrah for hats! One trend that I hope never goes away... Not only does it hide a multitude of hair sins, but it instantly dresses down even the most formal looks! Plus, it looks adorable with school uniforms.
9/10This is one of those makeup looks I'm so glad I got to see backstage, because it was sort of lost in translation on the runway. Backstage, makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury affid the finest amount of gold thread to each girl's eyelids... It added such a pretty glint to eyes!
10/10I always love the makeup and hair at Stella simply because she always keeps it real: clean, gorgeous skin, minimal makeup, and soft loose hair. The epitome of natural beauty!
