For this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, actress Bella Thorne knew she wanted to wear something extra special (it is the VMA’s after all!), and partnered with Disney to dream up an iconic look. “I was so excited to collaborate with Disney as well as the amazing designers I admire,” she said. “I chose to give Tinker Bell an updated stylish look, and keep the iconic green dress.”

"To give the look a modern makeover, we added lots of texture and did more of a messy top knot than a smooth bun. The easiest thing about creating this look is that the top knot has to have volume and Bella has the thickest, most luxurious hair to work with so it's easy to create this look."
