Rodarte Private Dinner, 2009
Now that Emma's become known for her sleek, often monotoned red carpet get-ups, we appreciate this early look even more. Her Rodarte dress is the perfect mix of playful and sophisticated, and that pop of cobalt is truly stunning on freckle-faced Emma.

London Fashion Week, 2009
This was truly a moment for Emma. She wore a gorgeous, glittering, gold Burberry mini to London Fashion Week that made everyone (including us) perk up and take notice. The whole look is equally chic as it is age-appropriate, and that's a tricky combo when you're 19 years old.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow: Part 2 NYC Premiere, 2011
This dress was no less show-stopping than the other one worn a few days before at the UK premiere. The Bottega Veneta corset-style top, architectural pinning of the skirt, slick hair, and smoky eyes revealed an Emma Watson who was really starting to make a name for herself as a couture girl.

…and then Hermione grew up. Emma's ensemble for the last HP movie garnered serious buzz because it showed the world that this girl—who was just 11 when the franchise came out in 2001—was all grown up. The flouncy details on the fairytale Oscar de la Renta gown avoid the whole wedding-cake look because of their edgy points and steely color, while the beading on the top says A-list all the way.

Gravity NYC Premiere, 2013
We love it when an outfit gives a little nod to the occasion, and Emma's space-age-y all-white look did just that at the Gravity premiere. Her couldn't-be-more-elegant off-the-shoulder J. Mendel mini gets a futuristic nod with metallic cut-out heels. Perfection.

The Golden Globe Awards, 2014
Not a lot of girls would do the whole pants-under-a-dress look, but Emma did…and nailed it. While it appears her ensemble is merely a dress from the front (minus the revealing slit), it went apron-style in the back to reveal some black trousers. Risky? Yes. Worth it? Oh yes.

The Valentino Show at Haute Couture Week, 2014
We don’t know how many times we can say we love this look. But we love this look. The lace crop top and skirt, the badass moto jacket, the single earring, the red pump. It’s all just so dreamy.
