Yet, another reason to fall in love with Jennifer Lawrence: The gothic-chic Schiaparelli ensemble she wore to the New York premiere of Mockingjay Part 2. (That, and the fact she probably changed into sweatpants and ate pizza a few hours hours later.)

When Nina Dobrev arrived at the American Music Awards in this matchy-matchy Zuhair Murad ensemble, we could not help but think that all fancy dresses should come with coordinating outerwear. The debut of Lily Collins’s side swept crop may have won the lion’s share of attention at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party, but we think her Zuhair Murad gown is definitely worth mentioning, too. Long, glittery, and sheer in all the right places, the style was—much like the lady wearing it—elegant in a refresheningly modern way.

Although, admittedly, nearly everything Zendaya wore this last year was flawless, the star’s choice for the Academy Awards—a draped, off-the-shoulder design by Vivienne Westwood—stood out the most. An special mention goes to her cascading dreadlocks hairstyle, as the visual contrast it added made the ensemble even more striking.
