15 Times Ron Weasley and His Family Were Just Like Your Siblings
It’s easy to become obsessed with the characters at the heart of Harry Potter. Harry is loved by the masses because he’s valiant and brave. Hermione Granger is the resourceful, compassionate badass that we’ve come to know and love. And Ron Weasley is the redheaded wunderkind with a crackling wit who wiggled his way into our hearts. And one of the things that is so special about the trio at the heart of the story is that they may have united to vanquish He Who Must Not Be Named Lord Voldemort, but they all came from very different backgrounds.
In the case of one Ronald Bilius Weasley, we can’t fully appreciate the greatness of Ron’s character without giving a nod to the entire Weasley brood. The ginger-haired clan lives at a magical place called the Burrow, treats Harry like the eighth Weasley sibling, and are Gryffindors through and through. Sure, they’re also wicked spell-casters and top-notch Quidditch players, but in a lot of ways, they’re just a regular family. Dare we even say they're just like you and your siblings? We dare. You might not spend your summer vacation hurling feisty garden gnomes from your backyard, but trust us here: you have more in common with the Weasley family than you know.
