16 Best Zara Perfumes That Will Turn Heads Everywhere You Go

For some time now, Zara perfumes have been taking over our algorithms and FYPs, and for good reason. The Spanish retailer is notorious for its fashion and accessories selections, but Zara fragrances have also seen an uptick in both quality and popularity these past few years — meaning if they are not already on your radar, it's time for that to change.
Whether it's because of viral “dupes” or collaborations with famed perfumers like Jo Malone CBE, Zara perfumes seem to be everywhere, so picking out the bottles that are actually worth your time (and pennies) has become increasingly complex. While affordable fragrances like Zara's are a great entryway into the world of perfumes, if you decide to pick up more than a couple of bottles, the prices can add up. Not to mention, the retailer's ever-growing selection can leave consumers perplexed. This is where this article comes in handy.
To spare your olfactory system a trip to Zara, we have rounded up 16 of the best perfumes you can shop at Zara right now — whether you are looking for a light, everyday floral or a spicy fragrance to make your night outing unforgettable — and tested out their lasting power so you don't have to. Below, check out which 16 Zara perfumes will be guaranteed head-turners and why, according to a Teen Vogue editor.

Zara
Energetically New York
Notes: Sandal, Jasmine, Cardamom
Strength: 9/10
Longevity: 8/10
Known alternative for: Le Labo Santal 33 Eau de Parfum
Also similar to: Aesop Marrakech Intense, Tom Ford Noir ExtremeIf you are a fan of Le Labo's Santal 33, chances are Energetically New York is already on your radar. Though the fragrances do share a sandalwood core, there are some key differences to take into account. While Santal 33 can smell almost leathery on the skin, Zara's Energetically New York is very heavy on cardamom, making it extra spicy and warm. Crafted by Jo Malone, this is one of Zara's more luxurious offerings when it comes to perfumes, and it lives up to the hype. The fragrance itself is unisex and mature, with great projection and lasting power. Though it lasts long on the skin, some notes do fade with time, making the cardamom top note even more noticeable. Cardamoms remind me of my mom, so this is not something I mind, but if you are not a fan of the tiny spice, you might want to look for your Santal 33 dupe elsewhere, as it is way more noticeable here than in the Le Labo composition.
Available sizes: 30 ml (1.01 fl oz) for $29.90, 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) for $59.90, 7.5 ml (0.25 fl oz) for $59.90 as part of the Vibrant Cities and Emotions Discovery Set
Zara
Ebony Wood
Notes: Ebony Wood, Pink Pepper, Clove
Strength: 7/10
Longevity: 10/10Also in the spicy realm but with a more oudy core, we have Ebony Wood, another Jo Malone creation. I've found that this eau de parfum is one of the most long-lasting from the offering (a full day on my skin, though it softens over time), so that alone is reason enough to add to the bag. I'd say, unlike Energetically New York, this one is a softer spice, relying heavily on fresh touches from cypress and grapefruit. Thanks to its coffee middle notes, the fragrance dries down sweet and almost nougaty.
Available sizes: 30 ml (1.01 fl oz) for $29.90, 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) for $59.90, 7.5 ml (0.25 fl oz) for $59.90 as part of the Vibrant Cities and Emotions Discovery Set
Zara
Gracefully Madrid
Notes: Orange, Geranium, Musk
Strength: 8/10
Longevity: 9/10
Similar to: Atelier des Ors Riviera SunriseAnother Jo Malone eau de parfum worth your attention is Gracefully Madrid. Inspired by the Spanish capital, this perfume is a burst of zest in a bottle with a green floral touch. It's super fresh and subtle but noticeable and packs a punch with notes of bigarade, bergamot, lemon, basil, and mint, but it dries down a lot more “mature” thanks to the inclusion of musk. If you want to smell like you spent the entire day frolicking through a blooming garden, this one is for you.
Available sizes: 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) for $59.90
Zara
Elegantly Tokyo
Notes: Cherry Blossom, Jasmine Smabac, Akigalawood
Strength: 9/10
Longevity: 9/10
Similar to: Byredo La Tulipe, Diptyque Olene, Miu Miu L'Eau de MuguetInspired by the Japanese capital, this eau de parfum is immediately alluring. It's sweet but floral, making you want to catch a whiff of yourself every time you wear it. The main floral notes come from white flowers and jasmine, and the sweetness (but not in a sugary sense) comes from the akigalawood. It's genderless, timeless, and bound to appease even the most stubborn of noses. It's so not overly pungent that it's great for layering, but it also lasts a long time on its own!
Available sizes: 30 ml (1.01 fl oz) for $29.90, 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) for $59.90, 7.5 ml (0.25 fl oz) for $59.90 as part of the Vibrant Cities and Emotions Discovery Set
Zara
Fleur D’Oranger
Notes: Neroli Essence, Orange Flower, White Musk
Strength: 7/10
Longevity: 10/10
Similar to: Matière Première Neroli d'Oranger, Tom Ford Neroli PortofinoIf you want even more citrus without the greenery and more zesty florals, then Fleur d'Oranger is for you. With bergamot orange blossom, neroli, and ylang ylang, this is one of Zara's most complex fragrances — it's very soft, fresh, and powdery at first. When it dries down, it becomes just the right amount of spicy. It's definitely more on the mellow side, so if you are sensitive to smells, it might be great for you, but, though faintly, the scent does remain for quite a few hours. (I could still smell it on my wrist the next day!)
Available sizes: 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) for $59.90
Zara
Amber & Fig Cashmere
Notes: Orange, Pink Pepper, Fig, White Woods
Strength: 7/10
Longevity: 8/10
Similar to: Phlur Father Figure, Orebella Salted MuseFig fragrances are having a moment, so of course, Zara would have its own version. The Amber & Fig Cashmere eau de parfum is both woody and citrusy, with a sweet, spicy edge. It features fig and white woods, as well as a base made of ambroxan, ambergris, and patchouli. However, be warned, this fragrance is more on the masculine side.
Available sizes: 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) for $59.90
Zara
Oakwood Parfum
Notes: Aldehydes, Grapefruit, Orange Blossom, Leather, Moss
Strength: 9/10
Longevity: 8/10Speaking of masculine, if that's your vibe, then don't sleep on Zara's men's perfumes. This eau de parfum is one of my favorites; it's woody but not overly overpowering, and it works well when you want a classic cologne scent with a twist. Formulated by Suzy Le Helley, who's behind some of Boss's standout fragrances, this one combines grapefruit, aldehydes, and orange blossom with a touch of leather and moss for a balanced sylvan smell.
Available sizes: 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) for $59.90
Zara
Hibiscus
Notes: Hibiscus, Passion Fruit, Mandarin Oil, Vanilla Orchid, Mango
Strength: 7/10
Longevity: 6/10Zara's Hibiscus fragrance is both tropical and fruity. The scent leans heavily on the sweet side, but it is not overbearing. There's a citrusy profile to this scent, with bitter orange and tangerine, but they are counterbalanced by mango and passion fruit to soften the edge, which is rounded off with a hint of floral that lends it its name. Overall, it's fun and free. Perfect for summer — or if you are longing for summer. This fragrance sits among some of the most affordable options that Zara offers.
Available sizes: 90 ml (3.0 fl oz) for $25.90
Zara
Red Zara Temptation Elixir Parfum
Notes: Coriander, Jasmine, Saffron, Amber, Moss
Strength: 8/10
Longevity: 9/10
Known dupe for: Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum
Similar to: Ariana Grande CloudBy now, Red Zara Temptation needs no introduction. The fragrance has claimed a corner of the internet as one of the most popular and sought-after perfume dupes, but did you know there are multiple versions to go for? This is the Elixir Parfum version, which is a bit more intense and lasts a bit longer, in my opinion. (If you spray this on clothes, which I know we shouldn't, it literally stays for days.) Overall, this is a sweet and warm fragrance, so it is definitely more palatable at night and definitely not for everyone, but it's super infectious if you fancy the combo.
Available sizes (for regular Eau de Parfum): 30 ml (1 fl oz) for $25.90, 80 ml (2.71 fl oz) for $49.90
Zara
Applejuice
Notes: Rose, Apple, Musk, Orange, Jasmine
Strength: 6/10
Longevity: 5/10
Similar to: Chanel Chance Eau TendreZara's Applejuice is the very definition of a fresh fragrance. Despite what its name might suggest, it is more on the citrusy side than fruity. Longevity-wise, this is an Eau de Toilette, not an Eau de Parfum like the other fragrances included on this list, so understandably, its lasting power is not comparable, but the scent makes up for it. (Though Zara has now come out with an EDP version that I have yet to test out.) The original EPT is super affordable, so you can keep a bottle in your purse to top up. Though it starts off super citrusy and clean, this one dries down with hints of musk, sandalwood, and cedar, which makes for a warmer, lingering scent.
Available sizes: 30 ml (1.0 fl oz) for $15.90, 90 ml (3.04 fl oz) for $25.90
Zara
Vetiver Pamplemousse
Notes: Grapefruit, Vetiver, Clementine
Strength: 9/10
Longevity: 9/10
Similar to: Hermès Eau de Pamplemousse Rose, Jo Malone London GrapefruitIf you don't like citrus fragrances, you might want to stay away from this one. However, if you do and you haven't tried this one, what are you doing?! Another one of Zara's fragrances, crafted in collaboration with Jo Malone, Vetiver Pamplemousse is as citrusy as citrus fragrances can get, using grapefruit and mandarin orange with a woody hint of vetiver. The projection on this one is 10/10, and the lasting power is also on par. Since it is so strong, to me, this fragrance can feel slightly masculine, but it technically works for everyone. It's fresh, indulgent, and elevated, and people will 100% notice your trail.
Available sizes: 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) for $45.90, 7.5 ml (0.21 fl oz) for $49.90 as part of the Emotions Vibrant Cities Discovery Set
Zara
Lightly Bloom
Notes: Peony, Musk, Lotus Flower
Strength: 7/10
Longevity: 8/10
Similar to: Versace Bright Crystal, Le Labo Lys 41I used to be a Maison Margiela Replica girlie, but since I picked this up at Zara a while back, it's become my go-to. In fact, it's the only fragrance I packed for my trip home for the holidays this year. With peony as the top, Lightly Bloom is fresh, floral, and smells so clean. The lasting power isn't the best, but it is still pretty decent, especially for such a light fragrance. I find this one to have a much better projection and potency than others in the same collection, at least on my skin. It's more fragrant and lasts longer, but you can still go heavy on the spritz if you want an extra oomph. (Note: Zara has given Lightly Bloom a new bottle, but the composition is still the same!)
Available sizes: 30 ml (1.0 fl oz) for $17.90, 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) for $35.90
Zara
Violet Blossom
Notes: Cherry Blossom, Magnolia, Heliotrope, Vanilla, Almond
Strength: 6/10
Longevity: 9/10Right off the bat, I was surprised by how long this perfume lasted and only later realized it was because it's an Eau de Parfum. Violet Blossom has been around for a handful of years now, and for good reason — the scent is fresh, floral, and almost citrusy, but not too overbearing. Aside from the top notes, it also has hints of apple, lily, and tonka bean, making for a great everyday fragrance with a bit of a punch. The scent might appear to be on the fainter side when you apply it, but fear not, because it will stay with you the entire day.
Available sizes: 90 ml (3.0 fl oz) for $25.90
Zara
Wonder Rose
Notes: Peach, Coconut, Vanilla
Strength: 6/10
Longevity: 7/10Though it comes in the same package as Violet Blossom (and for the same price), Wonder Rose is an Eau de Toilette. Its top notes make it similar to the now-discontinued Perfume in Rose, but I'd say this one is a bit more powdery, especially as it dries down on the skin. Wonder Rose is fresh and fruity, which makes it perfect for everyday use and touch-ups, as well as scent layering. It definitely softens upon application, but it remains flowery for a good three hours or so. If you want even more, Zara also sells an EDP version now.
Available sizes: 30 ml (1.0 fl oz) for $15.90, 50 ml (1.7 fl oz) for $17.90, 90 ml (3.0 fl oz) for $25.90, 180 ml (6.0 fl oz) for $35.90
Zara
Femme (Part of a 2-Pack)
Notes: Orchid, White Musk, Peony, Frangipani, Vanilla
Strength: 7/10
Longevity: 8/10Also an Eau de Toilette, Femme is, as expected from its name, very feminine — but maybe not in the way one would expect. On the skin, it smells grown-up and gourmandy. Upon first application, the scent is spicy but soft, but it becomes fainter as hours pass, leaving the spiciness space to shine. Aside from its main notes, Femme also has hints of bergamot, heliotrope, and tonka bean, which makes for a velvety mix.
Available sizes: 90 ml (3.0 fl oz) for $35.90 (as part of a twin pack with Nuit)
Zara
Red Temptation Winter
Notes: Jasmine, Amberwood, Leather, Coffee
Strength: 8/10
Longevity: 6/10This Eau de Parfum is described as “the winter version of Red Temptation,” but it truly stands on its own. On the skin, it is fresh and slightly fruity (it also has orange notes in it), but not too sweet. The note that stands out the most to me is leather, mixed with a little bit of spice (it also has saffron), so if you are looking for an opulent winter perfume, this is the one for you.
Available sizes: 30 ml (1.0 fl oz) for $19.90, 80 ml (2.71 fl oz) for $39.90
