Bet Awards 2023 Red Carpet: All the Celebrity Dresses, Outfits, and Looks — See Photos

Is it 2023 or 2003? The BET Awards 2023 were throwing it back to the Y2K era in the best way, with attendees channeling the trending decade via their wardrobe and their hair and makeup. Think lots of color and prints, slip dresses and asymmetrical hems, knee-high boots, and sparkly glam manicures — exactly the kind of inspo we need for all the summer fun on our schedule.

Exhibit A: PinkPantheress, who posed on the carpet in a leopard print slip dress with a peekaboo bra, skinny brows, and denim boots that look like something Britney Spears would have loved. Doechii, too, was giving 2000s in a baby pink bikini top with flowing panels paired with low-rise flares, a beaded choker, and shield sunglasses, plus the cutest pixie cut. Victoria Monét could absolutely have been a dancer in a Beyoncé music video in her asymmetrical bikini top, nude illusion flare pants, oversized wrap belt, and silver arm cuff.

Both Teen Vogue's latest cover star Ice Spice and Latto experimented with the ever-present sheer trend, with Ice Spice in a sheer corset dress with fishnet panels and visible lingerie and Latto in a sheer black gown with a major thigh-high slit. Riskier in another sense was GloRilla, who gave us retro Barbiecore in a halter neck mermaid gown with a gray feathered hem, which she wore with black opera gloves and Old Hollywood waves.
