London It Girl Bip Ling Shares her Obsessions, Hidden Talents, and Guilty Pleasures
Bip Ling is the kind of quintessential cool girl that you want as your best friend because of her not-too-cool-for-school zaniness and shameless affinity for all things cute. Over the past year I've observed and admired not only her sartorial flair, but also the fact that she, much like myself, tends not to take herself too seriously and (gasp!) actually appears to be enjoying herself when she's out at events, fashion shows, parties and photo shoots. A rare breed indeed in an industry full of ubiquitous pursed lips and eye rolls.

A cashmere cardigan that my mummy designed. It has a cute, funny, strange animal thing on it, and even though it has lots of stains and holes, I still wear it. I love him.

Which collections recently caught your eye?
I really loved Marc Jacobs AW 2012. I am obsessed with those jackets and hats. I also really got excited about Commes Des Garcons AW 2012—those giant pink coats were great!

If you could be locked in one store overnight, which one would it be?
Sauce shop in Dubai! It's so me—it has everything in there that is so Bippy. There are lots of colorful dresses and accessories. The interior design is like a house, there's an actual bed in their shop in the Dubai mall—it's perfect, there's even a garden and a bathroom!
Which city has the best street style?
Paris.

Loads and loads of summery colors despite it being the autumn/winter collections.

Once I was in Paris with two of my girlfriends and we had eaten so healthy, but on the last day we couldn't resist the temptation of the scrumptious patisseries. We literally bought the whole shop, sat in the park and ate everything! I had never in my life bought so many cakes for myself!
