For this fierce feline look, Make Up For Ever makeup artist Lijha Stewart painted a black cat-inspired mask onto the face rather than covering the whole complexion in dark pigment.
"Prep the skin by applying foundation and concealer in shades that match your skin tone," says Stewart. "Buff a bubblegum pink blush onto the highest point of the cheek and blend it towards the temple. Then, using a kabuki brush, apply a setting powder over your face. Stewart says it’s important that your cat makeup is structured and contoured. "Apply bronzer or contouring powder directly under the cheekbones to get a lifted look," she suggests.

For the eyes, Stewart advises using dark colors. "Blend a cream-based steel shadow from the base of the lash line through the crease. Next, dust a neutral brown shadow along the crease."
"Dampen a small brush, saturate it with black shadow, and also blend it through the crease to create ultimate dimension. Line your eyes with your favorite liquid liner, but make sure to create a winged eye, which looks more similar to a cat’s almond-shaped eyes," she says.

Use scotch tape as a template to create a cat-like mask: stick the tape on your face in the shape of a feline face, and then trace around the tape with a black liquid liner.
Stewart recommends letting the liner dry for two minutes. Remove the tape, and then add shading around the outer edges for dimension.

Finally, fill the entire lip with a dark plum or burgundy color to balance out the mask. Top it off with lip gloss to complete the look.
