Get Blake Lively's Savages Premiere Makeup

Blake Lively was the picture of old Hollywood glamour at the premiere of her new film, Savages. Her strapless black dress and full-bodied curls called for bold makeup. The Gossip Girl star's skin looked radiant, creating a flawless canvas for her matte red lipstick and jet black eyeliner. As if her look wasn't retro enough, she even has a natural beauty mark! Her makeup artist, Elaine Offers, breaks down her look for you step-by-step.

"Her skin was moisturized with La Mer Moisturizing Lotion and her foundation was a blend I made using three shades of Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Moisture Foundation," explains Offers. "Then, I softly powdered her face with Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Natural Lighting Powder. These products are made for high definition cameras, but they're still beautiful for normal wear and are very buildable. Next, I applied NARS Powder Blush in Gaiety for a pop of pink on her cheeks. Blake wanted a classic matte red lip so we went with NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils in Dragon Girl and Red Square. Her eyes were shaded with Laura Mercier shadows in Café Au Lait and Truffle. I also used Buttercream for her brow bone. With a wet brush, I added a touch of Laura Mercier Eyeshadow in Nior as an eyeliner on her upper lash line. For the white twinkle in her inner corners, I used Shu Uemura Eye Light Pencil—it's a great double-ended pencil with a matte white on one side and a frosty white on the other. I loaded up her lashes with L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black and the look was complete!"
