Bright Lip Looks From New York Fashion Week To Try Right Now
There's nothing like a vibrant pop of color to take you out of a makeup rut and the bold lip trend at New York Fashion Week can serve as great inspiration. We're sharing the exact shade (or combination of products) the models wore so you can recreate the looks at home. Start by prepping your pout with a lip scrub and conditioning balm to make sure you have a smooth surface for your pigmented hue of choice.

This intense pink color was actually created from a pencil. MAC lead makeup artist James Kaliardos used MAC Chromagraphic Pencil in Process Magenta all over the lips with just a touch of Lip Conditioner over the top.

Revlon Global Artistic Director Gucci Westman used a few different reds, selecting just the right shade for each models skin tone. To get the fire engine hue, she chose between Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick in Trendsetter, ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick in Finale, Super Lustrous Lipstick in Cherries in the Snow, and Super Lustrous Lipstick in Cherry Blossom.

Jouer National Makeup Stylist Neil Scibelli wanted models to exude seventies glamour at Kate Spade, so bright pink lips it was! Jouer Hydrating Lipstick in Simone was topped with the Essential Lip Enhancer for extra shine.

MAC lead makeup artist Lucia Pica first had each model’s lips painted with MAC Lip Pencil in Redd before adding a layer of Ruby Woo Lipstick. For the final step, a touch of Pro Neon Orange Pigment was dusted on top to give the lips a velvety appearance.
