**Joan Smalls **
From her electric purple lip she wore to last year’s MET Gala to the coolest cat eyes, Joan Smalls has never been one to shy away from a bold makeup look—and this denim-inspired sparkly blue purple eye created by makeup artist Sir John is no exception. "What makes this [smoky eye] modern is the texture and the shape," he said in an interview with Style.com. Her hair was pulled back into a simple, sleek pony with a striking center part to pull her hair away from her face and show off her eyes.

**Vanessa Hudgens **
Another sleek, center-parted hairstyle strikes the red carpet again. This time, Vanessa takes the look up a notch with a low, swirly bun to keep her hair off her neck and show off the sheer neckline of her Sachin & Babi Noir dress. On the makeup front, she wore dewy skin, mile-long lashes and subtle touches of matte gray shadow in all the right places.

Coco Rocha is the queen of classic with a twist: eyeliner that's slightly more elongated than usual, a vampier shade of red on her lips and a pretty updo with a purposeful frizz. Not to mention we live for beauty moments like unexpected splash of pink eyeshadow shadow all around her eyes.
