Chanel Couture Fall 2012: Backstage Beauty
Brr, it's cold in here! The Chanel couture fall/winter makeup, designed by Peter Philips, Creative Director of Chanel Makeup, was fitting for the show's cold-weather season. Models' eyes were ringed with gray eyeshadow, bright spots of blush blended squarely on the centers of their cheeks, and Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour in Evanescente lipstick, which comes out this September. They looked as if they just came in from a fierce snowball fight! The models' beanie hats kept their heads toasty on the runway and because couture means loads of luxury, the clothes were made out of rich materials, like velvet.
