Dalmatian-Inspired Polka-Dot Nail Art Tutorial
Spring is upon us, and it's time to put away the dark polishes and try something fresh. Nail color experts Ginger Johnson and Liz Pickett, who often paint each other's nails at work, wanted to try something quirky and fun: a Dalmatian-inspired, polka-dot manicure! Even better, Ginger + Liz polishes are vegan-friendly so you can get this cute doggie design guilt free!

Prep your nails
Before you begin your manicure, be sure your nail beds are smooth, clean, and free of oils or residue of any sort. When applying polish, start with a sweep down the middle and then fill the sides with one smooth sweep each. Don't forget to use a base coat! To get this look use Ginger + Liz polishes in The Professional and Royal Flush.

After the top coat has dried, you can begin applying the matte Dalmatian spots using Ginger + Liz polish in Royal Flush. Pour a small amount of Royal Flush onto a flat surface—we used a postcard. Taking your striper brush (you can find one at most beauty supply stores), dip the tip of the bristles into the Royal Flush.
