_Can you describe the plot of _Madea's Witness Protection?
"The story follows a man and his family as they get involved in a money scandal that sends them into hiding. I play a character named Cindy, and she is the brat of the family. She has a step-mom who she doesn't like her at all, and she lets her know it every day. She makes it very difficult for the whole family to deal with the situation. Madea whips the whole family into shape, and helps them to realize that family is the most important thing."

What's it like to be a part of Tyler Perry's successful franchise, which has such a strong fan base?
"I've been watching these movies since I was young, so I was honored to hear that I got the role. I'm thrilled. I was cast off of a tape that I made in my basement. I live in Chicago, so I had to send my tape out to L.A. I got really lucky!"

How was it to be on set of a Tyler Perry movie? Do you have any funny stories?
"There's a scene where Tyler Perry (Madea) is dumping water on me to wake me up. I refuse over and over again until the point where he gets a bucket of water and dumps it on me. When we were filming, we had to scream at each other to get good reactions for the camera, and it got to the point where we were so obnoxious that we started laughing. We had to cut; it was really funny!"

You're only seventeen. How are you juggling going to a regular high school with acting?
"When I fly out to film, I take all my school books with me. I have to keep in constant contact with my teachers, and then I have an on-set teacher that helps me move along with my studies. I'm a senior this year, and I hope to go somewhere in California for college. I'd like to major in drama. If I weren't acting, I'd study journalism because I love to write."
