    Nothing beats good ol’ blues. While you’ve probably done some major back-to-school shopping already, you can never have enough jeans. We bet you wear denim more often than not! And for many pairs, it’s all about the details.

    When you’re knee-deep in a serious mall trip, you might not have the time (or patience) to compare a dozen pairs of skinnies, which is why we’ve done (most of) the work for you. We narrowed down the season’s selection to 50 Teen Vogue-approved pairs—most under $200. And from there, we divided ’em into silhouette-based categories. Boyfriend fits are an A+ match for tailored T-shirts and layered sweaters, while high-waisted jeans make a serious statement (and also define your waist!). Flared fits are figure-flattering with something slinky tucked in on top since the extra fabric on bottom balances out your upper half, while skinny jeans are tried-and-true (and perfect for tucking into your favorite boots).
