Donald Trump’s “Bad Hombre” Comments Spark Ombré Discussion
If you’ve been paying any attention at all to this year’s presidential election, it won’t come as news that Donald Trump has made a lot of inflammatory remarks. During last night’s debate, he continued his pattern of using problematic rhetoric when he addressed his stance on immigration — which involves building a wall and mass deportation. “We have some bad hombres here and we’re gonna get ‘em out,” he stated. His bizarre (and ignorant) attack on the Latino community was compounded by the fact that he mispronounced “hombres” as “ombré,” AKA the hair trend that refuses to go away.
In light of his attack on botched dye jobs, we thought it would be helpful to round up the best ways to protect your ombré — so Donald Trump doesn’t try to deport you. And FYI: While we can get behind the desire to support good hair color, we’re decidedly not on board with racial slurs like “bad hombres.” As for the secrets behind good ombré? Read on to find out!
1/7Don’t try to DIY.
People have been known to lose their hair after attempting the technique at home. This one is definitely better left to the pros — plus, it’ll probably look better if you head to the salon!

The mark of a great ombré is the absence of harsh lines (again, why it’s helpful to consult professional stylists). Remember: ombré should look like a cool gradient, not separate blocks of color.
