Which woman in your life inspires you most?
"My mom! When you become a mother you have a whole new understanding and appreciation for your own mother. She is my biggest inspiration."
What advice would you have now for your teenage self?
"To be always alive within me. It's very important to never lose touch with one's teenage self."

What draws you to a fragrance?
"Fragrance has to make me stop, get lost, or enchant me."
How did you break into modeling?
"My big break was being on the cover of American Vogue at age sixteen. I was the youngest model ever to do so!"

What advice would you have now for your teenage self?
"I would tell her that inner beauty is what matters. Women are intelligent, intuitive, and graceful. That's what counts."
What draws you to a fragrance?
"I love when a scent draws up a memory, like jasmine in the evening. It reminds me of growing up in Ethiopia."
**How did you break into modeling? **
"It started as something fun to do after school and grew from there. It's an exciting way to express myself creatively. I was extremely lucky to have met many instrumental people in the industry early on in my career."

What is your number one beauty secret?
"Moisturize, hydrate, and get plenty of rest. A great moisturizer is important for me—I love Code Jeunesse from L'Oréal."
How did you find your own inner beauty and confidence?
"It comes with age and experience. As I'm growing, I'm becoming more confident in my choices. I'm secure knowing where I want to spend my energy and resources and what will give me the most joy in return."
