Check Out These Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Pics of On-the-Verge Band Echosmith Before the Teen Choice Awards
Imagine getting ready for prom—the most important time for you to feel and look your absolute best—with your three brothers all around you. And not only are they present for the whole "getting ready" thing, but they're fully coming with you. To prom. As in, you're showing up with your brothers.
Such is (sort of) the life for Sydney Sierota, who is the super gorgeous lead vocalist for Echosmith, an up-and-coming band that we've totally fallen for. Echosmith is comprised of four siblings—Sydney being the only girl—and they each have a downtown, '60s rocker vibe that emanates pure cool.
The Sierota siblings were kind enough to invite us into their home while they got ready for last night's Teen Choice Awards. And while we were mainly focused on Sydney's awesome hair and makeup, we managed to get the boys in for a killer group shot before they were whisked away. 2/11The Art of Cool Girl Waves
"Sydney has a lot of beautiful hair," explains beauty pro Jen Budner, who tended to the star’s hair and makeup. "So we wanted to just enhance it. I basically just sectioned her hair into four pieces, then I curled each using a 1" iron. I made sure to change the direction of the curl as I went along, so it would look natural. For the front pieces, though, I always curled away from the face. After that was done, I went through with a flat iron and straightened the ends, and then sort of flattened any of the curls that were too bouncy. To finish, I used two products: Oribe Dry Texture Spray, which broke up the style and made it less precious, and Brilliantine by Bumble and Bumble for shine."

"I always like to start with the eyes and finish with the skin," Budner says. "So I primed her lids with Laura Mercier Eye Basics, which really creates the perfect canvas for shadows to stay in place."
4/11Shadow for Blue Eyes
"Then, I dusted a mix of colors from the Tom Ford Eye Quad in Cognac Sable all over, then smudged M.A.C. Eye Kohl Pencil in Costa Riche along the top and bottom lash line. This color is perfect for her, because it just made her beautiful blue eyes really pop."

"As for the face, I applied Make Up For Ever HD Foundation all over, and then set it with M.A.C. Mineralize SkinFinish. I added a pop of color to the cheeks with NARS Blush in Gaiety."
