#OOTD, NYFW Edition: This Is What Teen Vogue's Editors Wore Everyday This Week
Typically when September Fashion Week rolls around, everyone at Teen Vogue gets pumped to test out our freshest fall looks. But with NYC temps rising into the 90s, we had to do a little improvising this season (sorry, chunky knits and leather pants). Of course, we still brought our style A-game and even got to rock a few layers here and there—it's all about creativity, right?
Click through to catch what we wore to the shows this week, and don't forget to call out your favorite looks in the comments!

"Day one! I went with an easy Kate Spade Saturday shirt-dress, layered an open-back tee on top, and decided to test out the whole socks with heels thing. They're actually a lavender color, so they added a little hint of color to my otherwise black-and-white getup—plus, the socks actually kept my shoes from rubbing against my skin and causing blisters (bonus!). Add my favorite vintage accessories (I.D. bracket, tie clip, and Coach cross-body), and I was off and running…er, walking…briskly."

"Regardless of the weather, I find it impossible not to layer—even in the dog days of summer, you'll see me running around the office in a mini skirt layered over leather pants. However, venturing outside the office with limited air conditioning tends to be a sartorial roadblock. I beat the heat layering a denim D&G skirt over a flirty printed Pollini dress. My shoes are Tabitha Simmons (a major score from The Real Real) and my bag is Balenciaga. Come to think of it, I bought every piece of this outfit on sale—there's always a deal out there, you just have to know where to look!"

"NYFW hit us a little earlier this fall, which made for a paralyzingly nothing-to-wear moment on day one, so I decided to do a black-on-black remix with a couple classic staples. The leather full-swing skirt is one of my favorite pieces of all time that I will wear until it literally falls apart. Paired with the ultimate free table find (a gold-plated statement necklace from Anthropology) and an American Apparel crop top sweater that shows the tiniest sliver of skin, it's classically feminine with a strong silhouette…but still a little bit playful. The olive green Jimmy Choo pumps and 3.1 Phillip Lim handbag give it a cool working-girl vibe. It was just right for going from the BCBG show at 10 a.m. to the NARS 20th Anniversary party later that night."

"I felt very Donna-Reed-meets-The-Matrix in this getup. My vintage leather skirt is super high-waisted, so it's perfect for a tied-up button-down…but maybe not the best choice for a 90-degree day. What was I thinking, you ask? I can't tell you, but let's just say I was every air conditioner's biggest fan that day. Get it? Biggest fan? I think I still have heat stroke."

"Florals for spring? Groundbreaking, I know—but what better way to celebrate the arrival of SS '15 trends than with a brightly patterned high-waisted skirt and a bejeweled statement necklace? Now all I need is one of those fabulous hats from the Rebecca Minkoff show…" —Chantal
"This was the hottest, muggiest, most miserable day of Fashion Week, weather-wise. Usually, I use the week to road test some fall looks, but that clearly wasn't happening on this day. Instead, I opted for something that would keep me cool: a short-sleeve leopard print button-up from Club Monaco and cotton American Eagle jogger pants which bunch just above the ankle. I finished them off with a pair of perforated Thorocraft shoes, and since I was in a back-to-school mindset, I brought along my backpack (also AE), but I hate how they feel on my shoulder so I carried it in my hand instead. It's my way of saying, 'I like this accessory, but it's too hot to let it touch my body.'" —Dan

"I tend to lean towards pieces that can stand alone but also work together in an outfit. Here, I'm wearing a casual oversized men's tennis sweater with classic Ray-Ban aviators to balance out my rather loud, bejeweled boyfriend jeans. My striped pumps are J.W. Anderson x Aldo, and the transparent neon clutch is McQ. I definitely received some stares walking through a sea of men in suits in the financial district on my way to the G-Star Raw show that night…"

"These pants are my absolute favorite! They're from one of my go-to shops in Williamsburg—Awoke Vintage. I went in one day and fell in love with them immediately, but left the shop without purchasing them. I couldn't stop thinking about how amazing they were, so I went back three days later and scooped them up! I love how the fitted floral top adds color and balances out the voluminous silhouette of the pants."

"This was my take on the lasting 'power clashing' trend. Instead of mixing two completely different prints, I stuck to the same pattern in similar color palettes for a more subtle approach. I wore this because Fashion Week is one time of the year where taking risks is most rewarded. The shorts had really big pockets to hold my invitations, so I didn't need a bag. Always a plus."

"My favorite look hands down (regardless of trends/season/decade) is a printed matching pantsuit—the bigger the shoulder pads, the better. I wore this to the Betsey Johnson show and felt right at home amongst the '80s-inspired collection—so many female power-house vibes."

"I've always loved esoteric or pretty-meets-ugly color combos! The vibe I'm going for most recently is what I like to call '70s librarian chic, perhaps inspired by my new Prada frames. I'm obsessed with this Levi's Made and Crafted sweater because it's a little Japanese-modern-art-meets-retro-wallpaper-gone-bad! The vintage shirt underneath actually has a giant collar and has little greyhounds on it (I like knowing they are there even if you can't see them). The shoes are from a special collection Brooks Brothers did that replicate the exact loafers worn in The Great Gatsby movie."

"The last day of NYFW always hosts the Ralph Lauren and Marc Jacobs shows, and I always believe both deserve a more dressed-up look. This Miu Miu floral dress is one of my favorites. I don't normally wear brown, but I love this retro-feeling floral print. The neon orange shoes are Jimmy Choo and attract a lot of attention on the street…whether from the fashion crowd or from the construction workers. The bag is Saint Laurent and will be my pop of color when the winter months have me dressing in head-to-toe black or white."

"The last day of fashion week calls for comfort. I chose this silk Reed Krakoff dress because it's easy like a long T-shirt, and the bright color helps me feel awake. Slides are a natural choice as is my Mark Cross handbag that fits everything I need. To finish it off, I'm wearing my favorite Yael Sonia jewelry."

"It was really hot this Fashion Week, so comfort was key. The necklace is very similar to Miley’s new Dirty Hippie jewelry line, so I broke it out after her launch on Wednesday—right on trend! With all of the running around between shows, sneakers were the only way to go by the end of the week, and the messenger bag kept me hands-free to remain on email between the office and events."

"Ralph Lauren shows on the last day of NYFW, so as I was gearing up for the day, I was really feeling a classic American sportswear vibe. I reached for a crisp white top and distressed jeans—both staples in my closet. I paired the look with silver metallic accessories, and I was out the door!"

"This was a super hot and humid day in NYC, so I opted for a simple, sleek look to prevent myself from melting—comfort is key when you're running around the city for shows, especially when it's pushing 90 degrees!"

"If I could wear all Acne all the time, I would. But, being a girl on a budget, I'll settle for a special piece here and there. For their Fall 2013 collection, Acne was granted access to the archives of the Musée de la Mode de la Ville in Paris, and the print on my top is actually a scan of the inside of a dress from the museum. I love that you can't quite tell what it is, but that it has an amazing story behind it."

"I picked this Kate Spade Saturday white shirt-dress after a fashion emergency that involved pomegranate juice and white denim, which unfortunately required an outfit change right as I stepped out of my door that morning. The dress was the perfect alternative for a more laidback day of shows. I wore it with Prada heels and a Céline bag. I love Kate Spade Saturday because they make basics like a classic shirt-dress feel very cool and special."

"I know black is a staple for 'cool' fashion kids, but I rarely ever wear it…or when I do it's in moderation. So I always joke when I wear a full black look that I feel very rebellious. I like to ground an outfit with denim, and Levi's are my go-to. I'm really into the slouchy skinny jean right now and I think it offsets the slightly shiny and polished Richard Chai top. I used to fill my wrist with different bracelets, but now I like to keep things minimal. I'm really into this simple and elegant cord bracelet by the new company Sailormade." —Andrew
"I love this denim Asos dress—it's a fun alternative to jeans and a lot cooler in the sweltering New York summer heat! I dressed it up with my all-time favorite Givenchy cage boots, a mini Chanel bag, and just added one simple accessory—a Pamela Love locket that was a gift from the designer. This picture was taken outside the DKNY show; it doesn't get much more quintessentially New York than that, so denim was the perfect choice." —Esther
