Get Emma Stone's Perfectly Chic Look from the SAG Awards
Emma Stone was definitely at the top of our best-dressed list from the SAG Awards. While her Alexander McQueen gown was perfect in every way, her hair and makeup look is what really polished the look. Celebrity hair stylist Mara Roszak for Wella Professionals lets us in on the steps it takes to get Emma's perfect updo, while celeb makeup artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua from Chanel explains the "slightly edgy" makeup she used.

Mara was inspired by Emma’s McQueen dress. "I wanted to create a smooth, polished up-do with a bit of a modern ’50s feel," she explains. First, she parted the hair to the side, then applied Wella Professionals Velvet Amplifier to wet the hair and blow dry smooth.

Next, she added a pump of Wella Professionals Mirror Polish to her hands and applied lightly to hair, starting at the ends, to smooth out any fly aways.

After teasing the crown of her hair to add a little height, Mara pulled it all into a mid-height pony, which was then wrapped into a bun and secured with bobby pins.

As for makeup, Kara played off of Emma's already gorgeous eye, hair, and skin tone coloring as well as her black custom McQueen gown. For that porcelain finish, she used Chanel Perfection Lumière Long-Wear Flawless Fluid Makeup and Revlon PhotoReady Finishing Powder in Translucent.
