From smoky eyes to updos that practically glowed, the beauty moments on the red carpet at the Emmys have always kept us guessing. The evening, which celebrates our favorite television series and its stars, has traditionally been a night for dazzling beauty looks, and this year's red carpet was certainly no exception. Our favorite stars definitely delivered on potential prom and homecoming looks, with featured appearances from Madelaine Petsch of Riverdale, some of the cast of Stranger Things, and even a few Game of Thrones warriors that made the trek from the wall for the occasion. Madeline Brewer of The Handmaid's Tale added a touch of floral to her Emmys look. Sporting a dusty rose lip and minimal makeup, the star kept the focus on her delicate hairpiece. Parting her hair into two tight sections, Madeline then brought her hair together in the back with a cream-colored flower. She kept the glamor going into her accessories, wearing dainty drop earrings.

Dakota Fanning completely mastered the cat eye for her walk down the red carpet. Makeup artist Erin Ayanian Monroe lined Dakota's eyes with Diorshow On Stage Liner in Matte Black, followed by a few coats of Diorshow's Iconic Overcurl Mascara in Over Black. Along with showing off a set of stunning eye wings, Dakota also sported a nude lip. Part of her hair was collected into a small ponytail, with ends that curled past her shoulders. Her hair served as a perfect compliment to her choice of bold green earrings.

She also received a ouch of color in the look, with a fun har accessory made of seasonal flowers and an equally colorful berry red lip.
