Get the Look: Taylor Swift at the American Music Awards

Taylor Swift was on a major winning streak at this year's American Music Awards. Not only did she take home the awards for Artist of the Year, Country Female Artist, and Country Album of the Year, the singer and recent Teen Vogue cover girl was also at the very top of our list for best makeup look of the night! And with that gorgeous face, it's no surprise that Taylor is also a CoverGirl spokesperson. To get her understated yet pretty AMA look featuring fresh, glowing skin and flirty eyes, we spoke to celebrity makeup artist Lorrie Turk, who gave us the full beauty breakdown!

"With a foundation brush, I smoothed CoverGirl Naturelu Silk Foundation onto her skin followed by a dab of concealer on the inner corners of her eyes," says Turk, who recommends applying concealer with the tip of your ring finger in a patting motion. "Next, I dusted CoverGirl TruBlend Minerals Blush in Shimmering Sands along Taylor's cheekbones to add highlight and color." For the eyes, she used CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 1-Kit Shadow in Tapestry Taupe from the lash line to the crease and blended it upward and outward. On the innermost corners of the eyes, Turk applied CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 1-Kit Shadow in Snow Blossom with a small damp brush to brighten up Taylor's peepers. "Then, I thinly lined just the top of her lash line using CoverGirl LineExact Liquid Liner in Very Black and applied a couple of coats of CoverGirl NatureLu Mousse Mascara in Very Black to her upper and lower lashes," she says. For the finishing touch, she swiped CoverGirl ShineBlast Lipgloss in Dazzle onto Taylor's lips.
