12 Times Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen Redefined #FriendshipGoals
Gossip Girl may have gone off the air in 2012, but who doesn’t still watch the show obsessively? (Thanks, Netflix!) You may know more about the fictional happenings of the Upper East Side than you do the current happenings in your own hometown, and love all of Cecily von Ziegesar’s characters (your quasi-problematic attachment to Chuck Bass knows no bounds), chances are good that your favorite part of the series was admiring Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodesen’s ride-or-die friendship. The girls embodied preppy-chic style, ambition, bravery, and — of course — loyalty. Sure, there were times when S and B were putting the “enemies” in frenemies, but at the end of the day (and series) they were always there for each other. Although you can’t really sip coffee with Blerena on the steps outside the Met, you can relive all the feels that made you want to be best friends with the two.

2/12When they went on that epic selfie-taking sesh (before selfies were even really a thing) through Central Park and you already knew what angles you’d use had you been invited.
