Hailee Steinfeld's Young Hollywood Awards Hairstyle: Celebrity Beauty Breakdown

Hailee Steinfeld's pretty, embellished Prabal Gurung pants and shirt, adorned with a sunburst of flowers, was enough of a statement that her hair had to be elegant, yet simple for the Young Hollywood Awards. Her bright coral blush was the focal point of her makeup, with a classic nude lip color and a hint of mascara to round out the look.

Hairstylist Christine Symonds wanted to give Hailee's hair a feminine feel to counteract the masculine cut of her outfit.

"I wrapped two-inch sections of her hair around a one-inch barrel curling iron, making sure to wrap each section away from the face," says Symonds. "Once I finished the entire head, I brushed out the wave with a Mason Pearson boar bristle brush and sprayed it with Oribe Superfine Hairspray. Minimal product kept the look natural and soft."
