Weekly Horoscopes August Week 2
Sharpen your tool kits, cosmic voyagers. This week is bookended by two major events that will have you waxing your windowpanes and looking out on old landscapes with entirely new eyes. Monday brings the crackle and pop of the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius, and the week closes out with Mercury stationing retrograde in Virgo until early September.
On the surface, it appears that fixer-upper Virgo and radical change-maker Aquarius don’t have much in common, but when we probe deeper, we can see that both of these signs symbolize looking clearly (and sometimes harshly) at what’s no longer functioning and harnessing what’s on hand to build better worlds. Think of this week as a kind of utopian home inspection where you travel from room to room examining cracking paint and Hoovering dust bunnies to prepare to live in your dream house. Mercury’s sextile to sweetie pie Venus in Cancer on Wednesday means we’ll be picking out the new drapes and love seats in no time at all.
How do you want to live? Is it a '60s Cali bungalow or a sprawling Neo-classical mansion? Whatever your architectural vision, this week gives you the tools to get down to work tearing it down and rebuilding, brick by precious break. As you undertake the loving labor of revisiting the visions that no longer work and birthing new ones into being, be ready for sudden shifts in the plan.
