Sheer and see-through ensembles have been trending on the red carpet for quite some time now, and we've been here for it since its inception. While some might find it tasteless to give a peep of what's going on underneath, we happen to think it's a fun and fearless way to spice things up and simultaneously smash society's standards for women. From Rihanna and Nicki Minaj to Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner, all your favorite celebs — old and new — have given a sneak peak of their undergarments on the red carpet in one way or another.
What's more? There are actually myriad ways to rock this trend — from more modest sheer skirts that show off a bit of boy-short undies to full-on frontal exposure for the more daring types (looking at you, RiRi).
