How Victoria’s Secret Models Workout
Today, our favorite Victoria’s Secret Angels will be walking down the glitter runway with wings as big as them, and costumes that can only be gotten away with during fashion’s annual blockbuster event. The show is extravagant in every sense and while they could represent more body types, these runway bodies are still all about strength and athleticism. Each model has devoted countless hours of physical and mental preparation, debunking the myth that all it takes is good genes. By not hiding their sweat sessions, they’re advocating for wellness and health and sending a message that implies anyone can achieve their strength and confidence goals. But don't forget that hard work will always be involved. The hashtag #TrainLikeAnAngel boasts over 50k posts featuring both the VS crew at various studios and gyms and us normal folk who are inspired by their confidence and body positivity on a daily basis. As the 20th annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show kicks off, we’ll be celebrating the perseverance and training that was put into the show by the Angels, and all of the new faces.

Circuit Training is an overlooked method of exercise but in reality, it’s a favorite for those who try it because it works your entire body, helps muscle endurance, and best of all it can be done virtually anywhere.

What isn’t pictured are the shaking legs that are an unavoidable result of Pure Barre. You won't typically find cardio in this workout, but rather a series of strengthening exercises targeting your core, arms, legs, and, of course, your butt.

Another Angel, another plank. Planks train the muscles of your abdomen to activate so they support your posture and share in the burden of holding you upright; your back muscles no longer have to do all the work.

The muscles that are used in Ballet Beautiful and other ballet-inspired workouts are similar to those used in classic ballet. They're also muscles that don't get used very often, which is why it burns so much. The entire time, you use your abs, and that's where your control is going to come from.
