III Points Music Festival Street Style: See Our Favorite Looks
No matter your musical tastes, from EDM to jazz, from Solange to The Gorillaz, there's a music festival out there tailored to your one-of-a-kind interests. But no gathering is quite like III Points. Created just four years ago in 2013, the Miami-based music festival is unique simply "because music isn't our only focus," explains co-founder Erica Freshman. "In addition to our diverse lineup, we pay attention to the small details that elevate the entire experience." Fashion is an integral part of that immersive experience — and III Points attendees gravitate toward bold, idiosyncratic looks. It's not uncommon to see one attendee dancing in a tulle skirt and bomber jacket, and another lounging in a Rugrats tee and distressed denim. "We like to create a space where people feel comfortable to express themselves in all aspects," Erica affirms. "Our attendees are very receptive to this and always show up in cool and unique attire every year." It's no surprise that III Points festival-goers take a creative, imaginative approach to dressing; the festival is held in the heart of Miami's artsy Wynwood district, a neighborhood frequented by creatives and known for its vibrant murals and street art. The artist lineup — like the audience — is decidedly diverse. "Considering what is going in 2017 with the lack of representation of LGBT, women and POC on other lineups, we like to balance the playing field," says Erica.
