Blogger Of The Moment: It's Camille Co
With a degree in management and a fashion line under her belt, Philippino blogger Camille Co of It's Camille Co still finds time to share her style with the world. Lots of flowy skirts, mid prints, and covetable accessories are key aspects that make up this glamour girl's style, which has earned her the title of Mango's current It Girl.
When she's not jet-setting to Hong Kong, Barcelona, or Paris, she's designing her ready-to-wear fashion line and blogging—with a bit of styling and modeling mid in. Camille will have you daydreaming about tagging along on her day-to-day adventures in no time!

**Why did you initially decide to start a blog? **
I've been posting my looks in Chictopia and Lookbook for a while already, then I finally decided I wanted to start my own blog. I guess it's because I wanted a space where I can control everything and not be limited by rules. With my own blog, I can share more about myself and my style.

**What is the story behind your blog's title? **
My blog title isn't creative at all! It's just "Camille Tries to Blog." I thought of this because prior to starting my own blog, I'd always go back and forth with the idea. Should I start a blog or not? I'm friends with a lot of bloggers so I could already see how much time and effort they put into their blogs. I didn't think I would have the discipline to maintain a blog! With their support and persuasion, I finally jumped on the bandwagon.

**If your blog had a mission statement, what would it be? **
To share my love for fashion and hopefully inspire others along the way to find themselves in fashion.
How would you describe your style?
I'd like to think my style is versatile. I like playing around with different looks, always mixing and matching and trying out new things. One day it's classic, the next grunge. But no matter what look I'm in, I always try my best to look put-together at the end of the day.

**What do you do when you’re not blogging? **
I’m a fashion designer running my own ready-to-wear and made-to-order lines under my brand Coexist. I also style occasionally, so my life can get pretty busy.
What are your personal favorite blogs? Why? Fashion Squad because Carolina is awesome! I love her fashion choices and I can really relate to her style. I love Gary Pepper Vintage too. It’s like she’s at a photoshoot everyday. Both classy ladies with modern flair.

**Any advice for anyone who wants to start her own blog? **
Just do it! I think what matters is your passion for blogging. That and a really good camera. Take your cue from your favorite blogs!
What are the best aspects of running your own blog? What are the hardest aspects?
It opens a lot of doors for you just by doing what you love everyday. That's the best for me. It also warms my heart whenever readers tell me how I've affected them in a positive way. The hardest aspects would be the issues that may arise from blogging. It's inevitable. You share a part of yourself to the world so you have to be careful. On a light note, the technical aspects are a pain too! Since I'm not a techie, I panic whenever my blog crashes!
