If you're a devoted fan of the beauty vlogger community, it's nearly impossible to miss the drama between Jeffree Star, Manny MUA, Gabriel Zamora, and Laura Lee. Jeffree, Manny, and Laura were known to their fans as a trio and were often seen on social media spending time together but that soon changed after Laura and Manny allegedly turned on Jeffree and joined forces with Gabriel. The rift started after past racist comments from Jeffree resurfaced (although fans later revealed that Laura, Manny and Gabriel had some skeletons of their own). And since then, it's been a whirlwind of tear-filled videos, apology tours, and surprising new alliances. There's no denying how hard this frenemy drama can be to keep up with, so we created a timeline of all the drama between the on-again, off-again crew. Scroll down for more.

In November 2017, Jeffree posted a picture on Twitter with the caption, "Walking into my ex-best friends funeral like." Jeffree also went on to say that he had been "working on himself" and had "removed a lot of negative people from his life." Many friends speculated Jeffree was referring to other vloggers in the tweets. One fan even responded by saying, "Laura? Manny? Nikita?"

Soon after, Jeffree responded to a fan defending Laura, saying: "You know nothing about her personally. Her soul is pure evil." He eventually deleted the tweet but not before fans took a screenshot. Laura's response to Jeffree's words was subtle but telling. She began liking other fans tweets including one expressing disdain for the beauty community and for Jeffree Star. "I don’t care what some grown [...] dramatic man who can’t keep a friendship wants to tweet about Laura Lee," the fan wrote.

After almost a year of speculation about how the initial drama started, a video resurfaced that Jeffree filmed with YouTuber Shane Dawson in August 2018 where Jeffree got real about his ex-friends in the beauty community. "With my ex-friends, people still don't really know what went on. Why do I feel like they need to know? Because there are so many versions of things that never happened out there," said Jeffree (pictured above with Manny MUA and Laura Lee). "Half of the people still think I'm the bad guy, when I only loved and cared about all these people, boosted them up, and gave them all my connections, but I'm still the f**king bad guy."

A few days after the video's release, beauty blogger Gabriel Zamora tweeted a picture of himself, Laura Lee, Nikita Dragon, and Manny MUA with the caption: "B*tch is bitter because without him we're doing better." Fans speculated that the tweet was about Jeffree since he wasn't in the picture — and Gabriel posted the photo only days after Jeffree's video. Many of Jeffree's fans rushed to his defense and dug up past racist and fat-shaming tweets from Gabriel, Laura, and crew in retaliation.

One of the posts in question included a tweet from 2012 when Laura Lee wrote: “Tip for all black people if you pull ur pants up you can run from the police faster.. #yourwelcome." Although Laura released an apology video on August 19, she has since lost hundreds of thousands of followers and several sponsors have pulled out of deals with her, including Ulta.

On August 21, Gabriel posted a nearly 49-minute video titled, "My Truth" where he publicly apologized to his fans and to Jeffree for his behavior and his past racist comments. Initially, Gabriel said that the initial photo with Laura Lee and crew was simply intended to be a recreation of Kylie Jenner's 21st birthday photo with her sisters. However, he did include a pointed caption about Jeffree. "I’m seeing certain things online about Jeffree doing [negative things] to my friends and I’m like... you know what, let me be shady on the internet," Gabriel explained in the video.

Gabriel said that after his initial tweet started to pick up a lot of traction, he decided to call Jeffree and apologize. From their conversation, Gabriel was able to get Jeffree's side of the story regarding the drama with him and Manny MUA. After their conversation, Gabriel officially took Jeffree's side and denounced his friendship with Manny MUA.

On August 23, Manny followed suit and posted a 25-minute video named, "My reality check" where he addressed what he refers to as the "middle finger photo fiasco." "I want to apologize to Gabi, because watching that video I can see the hurt in his eyes and I understand where he’s coming from 100 percent. And looking back, I would change things if I could," Manny said in the video. "Seeing it from his view and his lens is 100 percent true. I would have thought my friends abandoned me as well."

Manny also addressed his relationship with Jeffree, saying: "I didn't want Jeffree to get hurt or feel bullied in any way shape or form. Jeffree has done so much for me in my life. I would not be where I am today without Jeffree. If I could go back and fix things with Jeffree, I would because how he feels is not right."

On the same day, in response to Manny's apology video, Jeffree took to Twitter quote tweeting a fan's response with the caption, "This sums up my thoughts on his apology video. Now please stop asking me about it, I'm busy being happy lol <3". To sum it up, Jeffree didn't accept Manny's apology — and it looks like the friendship just might be over.
