Jenna Ushkowitz's Fox Upfronts Hair and Makeup: Celebrity Beauty Breakdown
David Stanwell created the hair and makeup looks on Jenna Ushkowitz for the Fox Upfronts and he's sharing his tips and tricks for recreating the look at home! It would look perfect paired with a summery sun dress, like Jenna's short, patterned one and a few pieces of silver jewelry.

David used Chanel Lumiere Foundation to even out Jenna's skin tone and set it with Laura Mercier Loose Powder. He used Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder to contour her face and applied MAC Cremeblend Blush in Brit Wit on the apples of the cheeks. For the eyes, he applied MAC Eyeshadow in Satin Taupe all over the lids, blending so there were no visible lines. He took Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner in Black and dragged it along the edges of her eyes to create a wing shape and applied a touch of Laura Mercier Brow Powder Duo in Dark Blonde to her brows. Laura Mericer Mascara in Black was all David needed to complete the look.

"I applied Shu Uemura Ample Angora Volumizing Light Foam throughout the hair while it was still damp," says David. "On the crown, I added a few sprays of Davines No. 14 Sea Salt Primer. Then, I dried the hair with a round brush, creating movement so there was still elasticity in the hair before I started to curl. Using a medium curling iron, I took sections of hair and wrapped them around the iron, alternating the direction that I wrapped to give it a natural, beachy effect. Finish off with a light spray of L'Oréal Paris Elnett Strong Hold Hairspray."
