How Justine Skye Took Over London Fashion Week
Of all the major cities that comprise each Fashion Month season, London is truly in a league of its own. LFW celebrates individuality more than any other fashion capital: the designs are imaginative, the street style is adventurous, and the backstage beauty is delightfully eccentric. Justine Skye got to experience all the quirks of London Fashion Week firsthand, attending shows like Ashish and Tommy Hilfiger front row, and even sneaking backstage when the opportunity arose. The singer/songwriter is no stranger to the fashion and beauty sphere: in years past, she curated a collection of accessories for Icing, created a limited-edition product for MAC Cosmetics, and even modeled for Teen Vogue. As the Spring 2018 season of Fashion Month comes to an end, Justine Skye walks us through her stylish adventures at London Fashion Week, showing off her killer outfits in the process.

Karwai Tang3/9"I am definitely in love with these champagne Aphid pants," Justine said of the dramatic wide-leg trousers she wore to the Teatum Jones show. Her leather belt was just as memorable. "It's by a New York designer Creepyyeha, who makes the most amazing accessories," the singer explained. "The belt is a big highlight of this entire outfit."

For her look, Justine "wanted to keep the color palette relatively simple, pairing this beautiful Mini Wade panther t-shirt with an Alix NYC undershirt and a classic Ashley Williams leather skirt." As for the accessories, she was all about bold personality and flair. "I let them speak for themselves," she said.

Mark R. Milan5/9For the "Fiorucci: The Resurrection" party at LFW, Justine wanted to make a bold statement. She accomplished just that with a glittering bra which she revealed ever so slightly, peeking out underneath a loose-fitting blouse.

6/9One of the designers we look forward to seeing at LFW is none other than Ashish. Not only does he send fun, spirited designs down the runway, he uses his platform to take a stand against injustices the world over. Justine showed her support at Ashish's Spring 2018 show, wearing a striped metallic bomber by the designer.

David M. Benett7/9For the Tommy Hilfiger show, Justine looked to past decades for inspiration. Her jacket was an ode to the laissez-faire fashion of the '70s. "The '70s-inspired off-the-shoulder jacket is a perfect match with the patterned pants," she said. As for the outfit's feminine yet sporty vibes, that was a clear nod to the '90s. "It gives off a vibe that is classic, yet mixed with '90s R&B style," Justine explained.

David M. Benett8/9Justine was seated next to Jasmine Sanders and Lottie Moss for the Tommy Hilfiger show. "Tommy Hilfiger is a classic brand. I love how they combine so many different stripes and colors into their collections," she said of the line. "The shows get better and more exciting each time!”
