Kiersey Clemons Wears H&M to Met Gala 2018
If there is one thing actress Kiersey Clemons knows how to do on the red carpet, it's provide variety. One day the 24-year-old film star stuns in black silk shorts and the next day, a fiery red wrap dress. For her first-ever Met Gala, Kiersey settled on a monochrome look from H&M that once again shows off her impressive style range.
Since this is Kiersey's first Met go-around, she wanted her look to be thoughtful and memorable. In this case, her decision to wear H&M almost seems natural as she's openly supported the brand's sustainable Conscious label in the past. She is also a fan of H&M's ability to outfit so many different types of people. "H&M is fashion and accessible and everyone has the right to feel as luxurious as I’m going to tonight," she told Teen Vogue.
In addition to feeling luxurious, Kiersey's main goal for the evening was to feel comfortable, something that is often hard to do in heels and long gowns. She's addressing this problem head on by bringing an extra pair of shoes to hide under the table. "How comfortable I am determines everything. I like to stand strong and feel sexy," said Kiersey. Strength and allure have never escaped the star even without red carpet heels, and tonight these two traits will shine even brighter.
