VS Fashion Show 2017: Meet Lais Ribeiro, the 4th Black Model to Wear the Victoria's Secret Fantasy Bra
For most models, the opportunity to walk in the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is a career-changing moment. The one position in the show that might be the most iconic, however, is the person who wears the fantasy bra (AKA the multi-million dollar undergarment that makes headlines all by itself). This year, VS alumni Lais Ribeiro is taking the honor and she's the fourth black model to do so. With years of experience in the industry, the 27-year-old Brazilian-born supermodel has certainly earned this coveted spot in the famed fashion show. Courtesy of Victoria's Secret1/8When Lais found out that she was chosen to wear the fantasy bra, she cried. "I had no idea that the fitting was for the bra. I came in and when I tried it [on], I cried. It was unbelievable," she mused.
Michael Stewart2/8Lais is the fourth black model to wear the Victoria's Secret Fantasy Bra since the fashion show's inception. Jasmine Tookes became the third black model to ever wear the bra just last year.
