How to Get Leighton Meester's Glowing Skin
got the opportunity to talk to her amazing makeup artist, Molly R. Stern, and she revealed the key products and application techniques you need to get glowing skin.

"Always start with a fresh, clean face," says Stern. "Wash off any dirt or debris before applying makeup. It will make all the difference."
After cleansing, she sprays Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist over the face to refresh the skin.

The next step is to moisturize. "I am lucky enough to have La Mer Moisturizing Lotion in my kit, but it can be very expensive. Use your favorite hydrating, non-greasy moisturizer as a base."

"Use concealer only where needed. If you use too much, it can settle into pores and look cakey. My favorite one at the moment is Dior Sculpt Concealer," says Stern.

"With foundation, make sure you only use it where you really need the coverage: any areas of redness, unevenness, or blemishes. Your skin will look much more natural without it all over the face. I use Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation on Leighton."

"To really get a glimmer going, highlighter is absolutely essential," believes Stern. "The best one I’ve found is Serge Lutens Makeup Base. I apply it on the cheekbones and the bridge of the nose for subtle luminosity."

The final step to getting perfect skin is a touch of powder. "Use a translucent finishing powder, like Chantecaille Poudre Delicate, on any hot spots—in other words, the areas that typically get oily, such as the nose, chin, and forehead. Once you’ve done this, you should be ready to ’glow’ out the door!"
