I'd been watching beauty videos on YouTube for a while and the more I watched, the more I began to think it was something I could do too. One day, I just decided to make a video. After that, I was hooked!
What is your beauty philosophy?
I believe beauty isn't limited to how someone looks or how stylish they are. Everyone is made with beautiful features, both physically and in their character. A beautiful person is someone who cultivates the beauty in their character and confidently embraces the features and body they're born with.

I get a lot of ideas from my subscribers! I've always loved listening to them and being inspired by the things they're interested in. Also, I'm always keeping my eyes open, whether I'm checking out a runway look or someone I see on the sidewalk.
Besides vlogging, what's a typical day like for you?
For me, vlogging takes up about forty hours per week and I'm in cosmetology school so my time is limited. In the free time I have, I love working out, reading, and cooking. I'm a total foodie! Everyone needs some down time.

My Jessica Alba-inspired updo tutorial. I filmed it about three times before I was happy with it. It was hard because I was doing it on my own head with no mirror. Now, I know to stop during filming to check my work, but it took this experience to learn that lesson.
How do you balance school, a social life, and your channel?
I make a lot of lists! At the beginning of every week, I make a list of all the things I have to do and then I expand that into lists of things I need to do each day. It keeps me sane and stops things from slipping through the cracks. I even schedule my rest time and social activities. It's important to have a balance and make time for fun!

Be original! Don't feel like you have to fit into a certain mold—just be you and share what you love!

It's summer, so I wear plenty of nude lip glosses and coral blushes! I love Revlon's Creamsicle Lip Butter paired with their Colorburst Lip Gloss in Bellini. Throw that on with Benefit's Coralista blush and you have a perfect, fresh summer look.
What's your favorite hairstyle to create?
If you watch my channel, it's not hard to see that I love bohemian-inspired hairstyles. Basically, I wear it a little messy or braided. Those styles are staples for me!
