The Met Gala isn't complete without the glamorous after parties that follow after the red carpet. With fashion's biggest night now back to its original May slot, celebrities attended the post-Gala events in droves and, of course, delivered on the fashion front.

This year, on a rather particularly chilly Met Monday, we saw celebs walking up the notorious red carpeted stairs in oversized coats, extreme draping, and trains that extend way past the carpet. Some even alluded to the fact that it was rather cold while walking up. However, once the fun commenced, it seemed things definitely heated up because we saw most celebs opt out of the layers and step into more playful looks for the Met Gala after-parties.

Whether they were singing their heart out with SZA at Instagram's party, dancing the night away during LaQuan Smith's gathering, or getting down with Cardi B at the Boom Boom Room, celebs and fashion industry insiders stepped out in their finest attire to mingle post-Met.
