This insanely cute date scene between Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles in 10 Things I Hate About You is everything you could want it to be and more. Not only do they go paddle boating, but these two share their first kiss on a hay bale. And yes, Semisonic is playing in the background. In other words, it's perfection—much like Heath's man bun.

As much as Bradley Cooper didn't want this diner date with Jennifer Lawrence to be an actual date in Silver Linings Playbook, it totally was. From the Raisin Bran to the constant bickering, this was definitely the worst non-date we've seen yet. But at least they make up for it later on with the epic dance rehearsal non-dates.

Clueless is one of the greatest movies of all time, so it's only natural that it has the best date scene of all time. Obviously we're referencing Cher's evening of epic fails with her crush Christian, who turns out to be gay. From Cher falling off the bed, to musing "Did I stumble into some bad lighting?," everything about this date is so bad it's good.

Edward and Bella's first date was technically that candle-lit dinner where Edward was all "I can read minds!," but let's be honest. Their best date involved Bella hitching a ride on Edward's back while he scampered around the forest and uttered sentences like "You better hold on tight, spider monkey." We'll never get over it.

All you really need to know about this hilarious date scene from Crazy, Stupid, Love. is Ryan Gosling is shirtless and Emma Stone strokes his abs. Much like any right-minded person would. Also, they recreate the lift from Dirty Dancing. Way to live the dream of every RyGos fan alive, Emma!

Razzles + a swing set = the perfect combination for dating success! Well, plus a sandy makeout session with your childhood crush. This scene between Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner in 13 Going on 30 is so cute it hurts. Though in a perfect world, they'd be the same emotional age as each other.

Especially considering Penn Badgley replicated the legendary speakers-outside-the-window scene for Emma Stone. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is the ultimate awkward date movie, probably because it centers on Kate Hudson's character being a terrible girlfriend on purpose. All her faux bad dates are perfectly constructed, but this one—in which she accuses Matthew McConaughey of fat-shaming her while they're out to eat—is the best of the best. Solely due to everyone's horrified facial expressions.
