The Most Moving Moments from Ariana Grande’s One Love Manchester Concert

On Sunday, June 4 at Manchester's Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Ariana Grande held her One Love Manchester tribute concert. Its purpose was not only to raise money for the Manchester attack victims, but to also to show that she and her fans won't back down – and it delivered on both fronts.
On the fundraising front, the show raised over $3 million for the victims and their families, The Fader reports, making for a total of over $12 million raised since the bombing. The money goes to the British Red Cross's We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, which "will help alleviate immediate suffering and ensure victims and their families do not face short-term financial difficulties," according to a tweet by the organization. To make that number even higher, they're still collecting money through Manchester merchandise and donations.
The concert also included some of the most touching performances we've ever seen from Ariana and the many artists who joined her. Here are just a few of its heartwarming highlights.

This was the last song Ariana performed before the terror attack occurred at her May 22 Manchester concert. Afterward, it became the top song on the U.K.'s iTunes charts. For June 4th's performance, her boyfriend Mac Miller came on stage, along with Justin Bieber, Little Mix, and other friends of hers, all standing in front of a screen that displayed the number audience members could text to donate to the Manchester victims' fund.

Ariana and Miley's love for each other and their fans is palpable in this duet. They originally sang it back in 2015 for Miley's Happy Hippie Backyard Sessions, and Twitter users begged them to reprise the performance when they learned Miley would participate in the concert. Ariana and Miley more than satisfied fans with an amazing reprisal that meant so much more in light of the Manchester bombing and the previous night's London attacks.

To combat the fear the terror attack attempted to instill, Joan Grande walked through the audience taking photos with fans and telling them "do not be afraid," Buzzfeed reports based on several Twitter users' accounts.
